Sexual function
This category contains PT-141, internationally known as bremelanotide. It is a cyclic heptapeptide derived from the hormone α-MSH that binds as an agonist to melanocortin receptors, in particular the MC3 and MC4 receptors in the central nervous system. Chemically it is related to melanotan II, but the two are not identical. We do not stock melanotan I or II. What PT-141 is and how it relates to melanotan II is explained in what is PT-141.
PT-141 for research comes in a 10 mg vial of lyophilisate, labelled with a batch number. For a cyclic peptide, the measured molecular mass is an important check that the ring structure is correct; our guide how to read a COA shows what to look for in such an analysis. More on keeping the powder stable is in storing peptides. Shipping from the Netherlands; for use in laboratory research only, not in humans or animals.
